Casey's First Day in Kindergarten

Casey started Kindergarten today. Her school requires a uniform, so she was so exited to wear one of her new uniforms and the new Hello Kitty back pack she picked out last week. Creed and I took her to class and she was really quiet when she sat down in her chair, but when I picked her up she was so exited to tell me all about class, recess, and meeting new friends. Needless to say I was so relieved she wants to go back tomorrow.

Celebrating 8 Years

Creed and I are celebrating our 8th anniversary this month. We met in St. George in college back in August 1995 which seems so very long ago. After a couple of dates I decided to go my separate way and didn't see him again until Spring 1997. We started dating exclusively shortly after and have been happily together for over 12 years. I am so grateful to share my life with such a supportive, wonderful husband, a loving, patient and carring father; my best friend by my side forever!

Frog Legs Anyone?

Casey and Carson discovered this big, bulging eyes, slimy frog trying to jump out of the toy room window well. Casey opened the blinds yesterday morning to find it jumping over 3 feet
high. There is a pond and a river close to our house, so the frog must have hopped around the neighborhood and ended up ultimately in our back yard. It was a relief the kids didn’t have any interest in keeping the frog. It made weird sounds; it was gross and shockingly big for a frog. Creed used a net to fish the frog out of the window well, boxed it up, and took it to the pond behind his work.

Happy Birthday Carson!

Happy 2nd Birthday Carson! Carson has grown up so fast over the past two years. He has a curious and fearless personality. Carson loves to play with Casey and especially when she gives him lots of attention. She is a great example to him. He also loves bedtime stories, hugs and kisses from mommy and daddy. Carson and Casey love to play outside together, they swim together, and go to the park together and now he can ride his own jeep to the park!
For Carson's birthday we went to the Zoo, later than evening we hosted a family party with hot dogs, cake, ice cream and presents!! Happy Birthday Carson!
